Simple to apply, remove and clean, these lenses are ideal for those who want to try contact lenses for the first time.
Acuvue 2 have a blue surface tint, making them easy to see in the pack or on your fingertip. Ultra-thin, they also bear an inverse marker so if you see the numbers '123' reversed, you know you have the lens inside out.
The lenses also offer the freedom to choose exactly how long you want to wear them for. If taken out and cleaned every night Acuvue 2 lenses can last up to two weeks. However, if you choose, you can also wear them for one week without removing them night or day. We would recommend speaking to an optician before you wear any lenses overnight.
Acuvue 2 lenses consist of 58% water and offer a high level of oxygen permeability, allowing up to 88% of available oxygen to reach the open eye, keeping it moist and comfortable for as long as you are wearing them.
Acuvue 2 contact lenses offer both UV-A and UV-B protection are offered by Acuvue 2 contact lenses, reducing b 88% to 99% the amount of harmful radiation reaching the eye, and are available in powers ranging from +8.00 to -12.00.

It indicates the amount of oxygen which passes through the lens. The oxygen permeability is an key indicator of the lens material. It determines how much oxygen (which is necessary for proper performance) receives a cornea of our eyes. The higher the value, the better. Dk/t is common used and it states: the Dk per thickness of the lens. Usually for a lens at -3.00D, which makes it easier to compare different lenses brands. Ranges from 10-20 Dk/t to over 170 Dk/t.
